DentistGrid is a free directory for patients. To operate, we accept paid featured placements from verified dental practices and may earn referral fees from select partner services. This page explains exactly what advertising changes — and what it does not.

What can be paid for

Featured placement in a clearly labeled slot on certain search and category pages. See featured listing disclosure.
Profile upgrades for claimed listings (additional photos, expanded descriptions, booking links).
Sponsorship of clearly labeled content units (for example, a "Sponsored guide" tile).

What cannot be paid for

Higher organic ranking. Organic results are ordered by the factors documented in how we rank listings; payment is not one of them.
Removal, suppression, or downranking of a competitor's organic listing.
Hiding a legitimate correction, dispute, or negative-but-policy-compliant review.
Inclusion in editorial guides, comparisons, or "best of" lists.
Changes to NPPES-derived fields (name, NPI, address, taxonomy). Those reflect public records.

How advertising is labeled

Every paid unit on DentistGrid carries a visible label — "Featured", "Sponsored", or "Ad" — along with a link back to this page. We do not run native advertising that mimics organic results without a label.

Editorial independence

Our editorial and ranking teams operate independently of sales. Advertisers do not receive previews of editorial content, do not influence rankings, and do not have visibility into competitor data beyond what any user can see. See our editorial policy for details.

Affiliate and referral relationships

Where we link to third-party services (for example, a dental savings plan or financing partner), we will disclose that relationship on the page in question. We may earn a referral fee, which does not change the price you pay.
