Report an incorrect listing
Help us keep the directory accurate. Anyone can flag a listing — you do not need to be the provider.
DentistGrid is built on public records, and public records go out of date. If something looks wrong, please tell us. We investigate every report and document what changed (see corrections policy).
What to include
- The listing URL or the provider's NPI number and city.
- The specific field that is wrong (name, address, phone, taxonomy/specialty, hours, insurance, services, license status, ownership, deceased/retired status, advertising label, review).
- The correct information, if you know it.
- A source we can verify (NPPES record, state-board lookup screenshot, official practice website, news article, license suspension notice). For provider-only edits, an authorized contact at the practice.
- Your relationship to the listing (patient, provider, staff, third party). Optional but helps us prioritize.
How to submit
- General report: email corrections@dentistgrid.com with the details above.
- Provider edits or removal: use Update or remove a listing.
- Claim a listing as the rightful provider: use Claim your listing.
- Review disputes: see the review & moderation policy.
- Advertising labeling issues: see the featured listing disclosure.
Urgent issues
For impersonation, an active license suspension, a deceased provider still presented as active, or content that could cause patient harm, mark your email "URGENT — patient safety" in the subject line. We aim to act on safety-critical reports within one business day and may hide the disputed content during investigation.
Emergencies
DentistGrid does not handle dental emergencies. If you need urgent care, call a licensed dental provider or 911 — see the emergency dental disclaimer.
