How to verify a dentist's license

1. Find your dentist's practice state (shown on every DentistGrid profile).
2. Click the state in the table below to open that state board's official lookup tool.
3. Search by the dentist's last name or license number.
4. Confirm the license is active and free of restrictions you care about.
5. For specialty designation (orthodontics, oral surgery, etc.), confirm the listed specialty on both the state board and the federal NPI Registry.
