Frequently asked questions
What does verified mean?
Verified means we've confirmed that the person managing the listing actually owns or works at the practice. Verification happens through one of three methods: practice-domain email, callback to the office phone on file, or a postcard mailed to the office address.
How is verified different from featured?
Verified is an editorial trust badge based on ownership verification and complete data. Featured is paid placement at the top of search results. Verified practices appear higher in organic ranking; featured practices appear in a separate, clearly labeled slot above organic.
What's the 'plan-level insurance accuracy badge'?
Most directories let practices say 'we take Delta Dental.' Verified practices list specific plans within each carrier (e.g. Delta Dental PPO, Delta Dental Premier) so patients can self-qualify before calling.
Does verification cost anything?
Verified is $29/month. It includes the badge, organic priority, plan-level insurance accuracy, expanded photo gallery, and a monthly performance report. You can downgrade to the free tier at any time.
How often do I need to re-verify?
Annually. We send a reminder and you can re-verify with a single click from your dashboard. If contact info or ownership changes, re-verification is required immediately.
